FIELD: personal use articles.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a device for use with a machine for preparing and dispensing beverages, comprising a code reader, comprising an inlet for receipt in the operation process of hot water from the water source of the machine for preparing and dispensing beverages, and an outlet through which hot water can be dispensed; at that the device also comprises multiple codes, each of which comprises information related to one or more parameters of dispensing for the said machine; and the device can be configured by the user so that the user can select one code from the group of codes, which is read during operation by the code reader of the machine for preparing and dispensing beverages for setting one or more parameters of dispensing for this machine.
EFFECT: this embodiment of the device reduces the time and labour intensity of the process of setting the parameters of the beverage, at that there is no additional necessity in programming the machine for preparing and dispensing beverages manually.
