FIELD: food industry.
SUBSTANCE: device for usage in a blender contains an appliance (10) installed so that to enable rotation and intended for movement within the food product to be treated with the help of the blended as well as the appliance casing (20) intended for partial coverage of the appliance (10). The appliance casing (20) is shaped as a hollow cylinder having a longitudinal axis and an inner surface (24) with entirely non-convex areas. The appliance casing (20) cross section shape deviates from a round shape and has at least one projecting area located on the outside of an imaginary circumference positioned in the centre around the longitudinal axis and touching the inner surface (24) with a minimum radius. The inner surface (24) of the appliance casing (20) may have a triangular or square shape around the longitudinal axis. The dimensionless characteristic value is determined for forecasting the device operation quality.
