SUBSTANCE: invention relates to communication. The present invention provides the method and the system for network control implementation on the basis of architecture with "thin" access points (AP). The method includes the following stages, where: during the pre-set processing the communication between the access controller (AC) and AP is implemented using the control and activation protocol of wireless access points (CAPWAP), and the pre-set processing includes at least one of the following: transmission by AC to AP of configuration information from the network control platform, receiving by AC from AP of collected information which is used for response to the request for information collection from the network control platform, and the message of AP through AC in the network control platform on TRAP event.

EFFECT: improvement of efficient network control through the simple network management protocol (SNMP) is achieved, load on a network control system can be lowered, and quality of network can be improved.
