FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: set of inventions relates to oil production, particularly, to separation of fluids in process flow. Coagulator comprises outer wall to define the flow path for intake of process fluid. Multiple electrode plates are arranged in said flow path. Controller comprises inductor and signal generator. Inductor is connected in parallel with multiple electrode plates. Inductor and multiple electrode plates and process medium there between define the resonance circuit. Signal generator is connected with multiple electrode plates to apply AC signal thereto in frequency corresponding to resonance frequency of resonance circuit in the presence of process medium. Signal generator varies AC signal frequency proceeding from varying properties of process medium to maintain the resonance.
EFFECT: higher efficiency for application with wide range of process media.
