SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a filling fluid medium for a jet device, which contains silicone oil and a siloxane block copolymer solubilized in silicone oil, wherein the siloxane block-copolymer is substantially immiscible with the aqueous liquid. Invention also relates to sets comprising a jet device and a container comprising said fluid filling medium and a method of performing operations with droplets in a jet device, which includes movement of a plurality of water droplets through a filling fluid within the jet device, and movement of multiple drops involves polymerase chain reaction or preparation of a sample for sequencing reactions.
EFFECT: disclosed is a filling fluid medium for jet devices.
