FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to ferrous metallurgy, namely to a metals casting. The slide gate has casing, support frame, movable carriage connected by tie-rod with drive rod of the gate, located in the bracket secured on the casing. The refractory plates with casting holes and metal enclosures are installed in the casing and carriage sockets, and are pressed one to another by the spring blocks. The compensating slider is connected with the tie-rod of the movable carriage by means of the cone split lock nut, and with the gate drive by means of the socket for the drive rod entrance. Surface of the compensating slider sliding over the internal surface of the bracket is spherical and reduces friction force between the tie-rod and casing.
EFFECT: increased accuracy of positioning of holes in the refractory plates, metal dosing, and reduced parts wear.
