FIELD: engines and pumps.

SUBSTANCE: gas distribution mechanism of internal combustion engine includes valves made of heads, rods of which are equipped with vertically arranged channels coupled with transverse holes. At the end surface of valve heads there are grooves, where plates are movably installed, being equipped with holes having diameters identical to diameters of vertically arranged channels of rods. Plates with one end are spring-loaded relative to the heads of the valves, and with the other end, having curvilinear end surface, contact with seats of valves. Orifices of round form equipped with central holes, axes of symmetry of which match similar axes of the specified vertically arranged channels of rods are rigidly fixed to the end surfaces of the valve heads.

EFFECT: elimination of filling of vertically arranged channels made in rods of valves with hot mixture.
