FIELD: the invention refers to the field of internal combustion engines.
SUBSTANCE: the gas distributing mechanism has suction and exhaust valves fulfilled in the shape of heads and rods located in a cylinder block. The heads and the rods of the valves are provided with channels and in the rods there are additionally fulfilled laterally located openings capable to pass exhausted gases and the working mixture in additional volumes.
EFFECT: the invention allows to increase efficiency of the work of carburetor and diesel four-cycled engines.
