FIELD: measurement equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the method and system to monitor water flow properties in a technological process in real-time mode. The method includes provision of the initial water solution, arising from the specified process, at the same time the water flow contains solids having the first deposition characteristics; addition of a modifying agent into the initial water solution with addition speed, sufficient to receive a modified water flow containing a solid, having the second deposition characteristics, different from the first deposition characteristics; selection of a sample of the initial water solution or modified water solution, any combination of flows, including a modified water solution or any part of the modified water flow, periodically from the place of sampling into a deposition chamber, having volume; and measurement of deposition characteristics of the solid substance in the sample locally in a deposition reservoir as time function.
EFFECT: invention may be used for efficient monitoring and optionally to regulate extent of agglomeration of the process for production of cellulose mass and paper or cardboard.
