FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of producing 5-substituted-8-alkoxy[1,2,4]triazolo[1,5-c]pyrimidine-2-amines of formula (I):
, where X is a halogen or OR; and R is C1-C4alkyl; which includes: i) reacting 2-substituted-4-amino-5-alkoxypyrimidine of formula: with isothiocyanatidocarbonate of formula: in a polar aprotic solvent to obtain (pyrimidinylamino)carbonotihioylcarbamate of formula: ; ii) bringing (pyrimidinylamino)carbonotihioylcarbamate into contact with hydroxylamino in the presence of a base to obtain (pyrimidinylamino)(hydroxyimino)methylcarbamate of formula: and iii) cyclisation of (pyrimidinylamino)(hydroxyimino)methylcarbamate by heating in an inert solvent to obtain 5-substituted-8-alkoxy[1,2,4]triazolo[1,5-c]pyrimidine-2-amine. The invention also relates to a method of producing 2-amino-5,8-alkoxy[1,2,4]triazolo[1,5-c]pyrimidines of formula: , where R is C1-C4alkyl; which includes bringing 5-halogen-8-alkoxy[1,2,4]triazolo[1,5-c]pyrimidine-2-amine of formula: , where X is a halogen; and R is C1-C4alkyl; with an alkali metal alkoxide in an alcohol solvent. The invention also relates to compounds of formulae: and , where X is a halogen or OR; and R is C1-C4alkyl.
EFFECT: obtaining 5-substituted-8-alkoxy[1,2,4]triazolo[1,5-c]pyrimidine-2-amines with high output without using hydrazine and cyanohalide.
