SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a covering member for buildings. The covering member for buildings, which includes at least one retaining device that is located preferably as a stationary device and has an external section directed to the outer side of the building that is to be provided with the covering member, at least one film element having an external film layer located on the outer side of the building and fixed by means of an end section on the retaining device, and at least one heat-insulating element, where this element is located with the first section in the external section of the retaining device and projects at least with one second section beyond the retaining device and adjoins the end section of the external film layer of at least one film element. As per another version, the heat-insulating element for the covering member for buildings, where the first section provided for location in the external section of the retaining device, and at least one second section made on the outer side of the retaining device to be adjacent to the end section of the external film layer of at least one film element. The invention is developed in dependent claims.

EFFECT: easier installation and more effective heat insulation.
