FIELD: metallurgy.

SUBSTANCE: on strengthened surface of part the underlayer is formed, on it build-up charge is applied, it contains high alloyed chromous cast iron. Underlayer formation on the part surface is performed by induction build-up of the alloying charge containing boron carbide and flux, at temperature 1270-1300°C for 1-2 minutes with assurance of surface alloying with boron to depth 0.1-0.35 mm. For underlayer formation the alloying charge containing wt %: boron carbide 70-85, flux 15-30 is used.

EFFECT: increased wear resistance of coating and reduced embrittlement.
