SUBSTANCE: invention relates to radar and can be used to design noise-immune tracking (guidance) systems. The method is based on accounting for changes in an updating process, wherein an object (target) is irradiated, a mixture of a noise signal and a signal reflected therefrom is received, the angular position of the energy centre of the object (target) is determined and the angular position of the energy centre of the object (target) is additionally determined at two measuring devices spaced apart. Based on all possible combinations of pairs of the obtained values of the angular position of the energy centre of the object (target), coordinates of the target are calculated in the Cartesian coordinate system using a triangulation method, using coordinate values obtained from different pairs of positions, under the effect of flicker interference with smooth variation of signal power, mismatches are calculated and then compared with a given threshold, and a detection function of flicker interference with smooth variation of signal power is then formed based on the comparison results.

EFFECT: high probability of detecting flicker interference with smooth variation of signal power on an angular coordinate measuring device.
