FIELD: radio location.
SUBSTANCE: area of application: the invention relates to equipment for primary range measurement of pulse-doppler (P) radio location stations (radars). Substance: an algorithm of adaptation of the parameters of the law of frequency modulation of a quasi-continuous signal with LFM and the type of the window function used for weight processing of echo signals to the developing air and interference situation is used. As a result, effective doppler selection of targets against the background of passive interference with a possibility of primary range finding thereof in one or two sounding cycles with an accuracy comparable with the accuracy of range measurement by known methods, typical for PD radars, is ensured.
EFFECT: neutralisation of the factor of masking useful echo signals by interference reflections from the underlying surface and local objects when using linear frequency modulation (LFM) of the carrier frequency for the purpose of effective unambiguous range finding by a combined method.
