FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: device comprises a transfer path (90), a magnet (21) built into a magnetic sensor (20), designed for detecting magnetic material in a paper sheet, multiple pairs of feed rollers (30,40) mounted next to the magnetic sensor and facilitating movement of paper sheets on the transfer path. Each pair of feed rollers includes a drive roller and a pressure roller situated opposite each other. External annular surfaces of the feed rollers, facing the transfer path, are made of nonmagnetic material.
EFFECT: preventing degradation of accuracy of magnetic detection arising from the magnetisation of feed rollers used to transfer paper sheets.
