SUBSTANCE: in the method for power-saving operation mode of self-powered device supplied from direct-current source charging current for filtering capacities of GSM/GPRS module is limited by modulation of MOSFET channel resistance due to smooth growth of voltage at its gate using pulse-width modulation of the control signal supplied to the gate through filtering RC-circuit, at that time constant τ of RC-circuit is selected on the basis of τ=T/3, where T is time of voltage growth at gate of switching MOS-transistor up to the value of 1 V.
EFFECT: increased time of the device uninterrupted operation.
