FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to agriculture and may be used for measuring residual quantities of a bioorganic compound (the active substance poly-NN-dimethyl-3,4 methylpyrolidinium halogenide (chloride)) with pronounced bactericidal and fungiprotective properties in herbal objects (apples, pears, queen-apples, plums and peaches). A method for the quantitative measurement of residual quantities of poly-NN-dimethyl-3,4 methylpyrolidinium halogenide (chloride) in a herbal material by gas chromatography in a gas chromatographer equipped with a flame ionisation detector. The chromatography parameters are: column temperature 190°C, column nitrogen flow 30 ml/min, hydrogen flow 40 ml/min, air flow 420 ml/min; activated carbon particle size in the column 0.25 mm; temperature and time of sample holding in a water bath - sealed vessels has endured a temperature of 70°C for 30 min.
EFFECT: more objective and reliable measurements of trace quantities of poly-NN-dimethyl-3,4 methylpyrolidinium halogenide (chloride) in the herbal material, as well as full peak separation, high result precision; standard deviation 6,4 %, a confidence interval for the mean 7,9% at n = 5 and d = 0,95.
