FIELD: power engineering.
SUBSTANCE: in the method of cleaning of downflow pipes of drum separators of a nuclear channel-type reactor by means of flushing with water, downflow pipes are flushed in each drum separator in turns by pure chemically desalinated water supplied with a flow rate of 200…250 m3/hr for 12…14 minutes. Besides, the total time of flushing is divided into two stages. The first flushing is to be carried out with a flow rate of 240…250 m3/hr for 7…8 minutes, and the second one - with a flow rate of 200…210 m3/hr for 5…6 minutes.
EFFECT: reduced duration of cleaning, reduced volume of used water for cleaning of downflow pipes of all drum separators.
