SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to psychiatry, neurology and physiotherapy and can be used for the prevention and treatment of asthenic-depressive syndrome of neurotic register. What is involved is a physiotherapeutic exposure of an individual's retina to continuous bright light flux at illuminance 7,000-10,000 lux. The exposure is generated at a narrow emission band at average wave length 580 nm in the spectral range of 560-600nm.
EFFECT: method enables more effective prevention and treatment of asthenic-depressive syndrome of neurotic register, reduced length of treatment by the exposure to bright narrow-band yellow light.
