FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves exposing eye retina to ultraviolet bandwidth light during ultraviolet twilight time and/or when no natural ultraviolet radiation is available. Wavelength is selected to be 360-370 nm of 0.04-0.3 W/m2 intensity. A treatment is 20-30 min long. EFFECT: reduced affective symptoms; normalized psychoemotional state of patients.
