FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: disposable breast pump comprises a breast pump component including a breast cap to place a woman's breast inside, and a part maintaining a passage and attachable to the breast cap. The part maintains the passage and accommodates an opening. Expressed milk contained is attached to the breast pump component. A closure is provided in the opening. The closure cuts off an air access when the above component is originally delivered to a customer, as to hold vacuum in the part. The closure is mechanically coupled with a detachable part of the breast pump component and opens to allow ambient air inside the breast pump component by detaching the part from the breast pump component to prevent breast pump re-use. The closure represents an elastic member enclosed or clamped between the above container and a portion of the part maintaining the passage in the first position to close an opening for air intake into the part. The elastic member moves into a second position when detaching the container and uncovering the opening. The elastic member further stays in the above second position when re-attaching the container.
EFFECT: sterility of use.
