FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions refers to medicine and is used in manual and electrically driven breast milk expression. A breast pump comprises a breast screen assembly and a vacuum pump connected with the breast screen assembly. An additional mechanism is connected with a breast screen chamber and separated from the vacuum pump to support at least minimal negative pressure inside the breast screen during at least a number of multiple cycles in a pumping session. There are disclosed versions of the breast pump differing by the version, a method of breast pump operation, versions of a method of the breast pump and a device for generation of minimal negative pressure in the field of a human body.
EFFECT: maintaining minimal negative pressure inside the breast screen during multiple pumping cycles.
