FIELD: computing technology.

SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to a method, a computer program, a processor, and an apparatus for obtaining indications of the content of fat in milk, as well as to a breast pump containing such an apparatus. Proposed is an apparatus containing a processor intended to implement a method for obtaining indications of the content of fat in milk, wherein at least one drop of liquid is forced to fall on a certain amount of milk while the sound of the event of collision of the drop of liquid with the surface of said amount of milk is determined in order to receive an audio signal of said event, wherein the method includes the following stages: analysing the sound signal by executing a procedure to thereby obtain an estimate of the value associated with the content of fat in the milk, based on the audio signal, wherein the analysis of the audio signal includes the stage of determining the frequency spectrum of the audio signal, and wherein the content of fat, i.e. F, %, is estimated based on the formula. Also proposed is a breast pump containing: a pumping set containing breast placement funnel and a milk outlet; a pumping mechanism; a milk pumping sound assessment system containing a sound sensor for receiving an audio signal and an apparatus, wherein the processor of the apparatus is configured to perform the above analysis of the audio signal received from the sound sensor when the breast pump is in operation.
