FIELD: construction.

SUBSTANCE: device comprises a water impermeable barrage 1 in a transverse river station, fully by capacity and width covering the water bearing bed and forming the main underground water pond 2, and a water intake of underground waters arranged upstream, for instance, in the form of a shaft well 3. The device comprises an additional water impermeable barrage 4, arranged in the transverse river station above the area of impact of the main underground water pond 2 in its upper reach and forming an additional underground water pond 6. The additional water impermeable barrage 4 has a hole 5 for passage of underground waters from the additional underground water pond 6. In the upper reach of the additional water impermeable barrage 4 there is a water receiving device, for instance, a shaft well 7, communicated by a pipeline 8 with the main underground water pond 2 via the hole 5. The pipeline 8 is equipped with a station 9 in the shaft well 7 for control of water flow from the water receiving device 7 into the main underground water pond 2.

EFFECT: provision of the possibility of reliable water withdrawal in the required volume for the entire period of operation, including low-water periods of the year in mountain river valleys with periodically drying water course.
