The above-ground reservoir formed by the above-ground dam spanning by the width the transverse alignment of a river valley is located above the underground reservoir. The waterproof barrage is located below the above-ground dam at a distance sufficient for arranging underground water intake boreholes or wells. Both reservoirs are connected to each other and to the consumer with the shut-off regulating pipelines.
EFFECT: ability to secure water intake in the required amount during the entire period of operation.
