FIELD: physics, optics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to LEDs converting high-power primary radiation into secondary radiation with larger wavelength in spectrum visible spectrum. It can be used as converters of radiation in LEDs radiating coloured or white light. In compliance with this invention it comprises first LED, surface-modified luminophor to absorb light radiated from first LED and radiate light with wavelength other than that of absorbed light. Note here that said surface-modified luminophor contains silicate luminophor and fluorinated coating on said silicate luminophor.
EFFECT: better resistance to air humidity and other ambient effects, longer service life.
