SUBSTANCE: claimed single-ply brake shoe comprises a hard inserts, wire carcass and metal rest composed of two supports arranged on both sides over the length of said hard insert. Said hard inserts is jammed in the wire carcass. The support metal depth varies from 0.7 to 1.3 of the diameter of carcass wire. Support width makes 0.7-0.8 of wire carcass width Support length makes 0.4-0.6 of the gripper length.
