FIELD: agriculture.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a rotary cutting body of a bush cutter. The rotary cutting body of a bush cutter has a rotating cylindrical drum with a plurality of annular flat washers mounted on it. The washers are secured to the drum along the inner circumferential edge and are located on the drum perpendicular to its axis of rotation at an equal distance from each other. The mounting element of the cutter is located between each pair of adjacent washers and is mounted on the outer edge of the washers, being at a distance above the surface of the drum to create a clearance allowing flow of wood chips and other remains. The mounting element is attached removably to the cutter which protrudes forward from the mounting element substantially at a tangent to it and terminates with the cutting edge located above the washers.
EFFECT: with such arrangement the strength and durability of the cutting tool is increased, as well as its effectiveness in cutting and spreading wood chips, maintenance is simplified.
