SUBSTANCE: mining machine for interacting with the drift wall comprises a platform, a cantilever having an end and pivotally attached to the platform providing rotation of the cantilever around the rod in the first direction, a drive having a first end connected to the cantilever and providing rotation of the cantilever in first direction, a first disc cutter mounted at the end of the cantilever having the first cutting edge configured for rotating around the first axis and interacting with the drift wall at the first angle of attack when the cantilever turns in said first direction, and the second disc cutter mounted at the end of the cantilever having the second cutting edge configured for rotating around the second axis and interacting with the drift wall at the second angle of attack when the cantilever turns in said first direction. The second angle of attack equals to the first angle of attack. Said first and second axes are not in the same plane.

EFFECT: reduction of applied force and increase of disc cutter efficiency with reduction of power consumed per one extraction of rock volume unit.
