FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production of hardened ultrafine materials by processing with high-rate flow of powder particles. Proposed process comprises processing of metal or allot blank by flow of powder particles accelerated by energy of explosive charge blast under conditions of a super deep penetration of particles. Powder particles in capsule are placed under explosive charge. Metal or alloy blank is placed at rolling tooling with forming rolls to make the clearance with capsule. Blank is processed with powder particles flow at dispersion of 1-100 mcm, flow rate of 1.5-3.5 km/s and density of 1 g/cm3 and at pressure of particles collision with the blank of 10-30 GPa. Simultaneously, blank is subjected to plastic deformation at compression in cross-section by extruding the blanks through forming rollers by powder particles flow and energy of explosive charge blast. Said processing is performed on blank face and back.
EFFECT: higher strength of the material.
