SUBSTANCE: biologically active additive is added into the main feed of weaned piglets. The biologically active additive is fine-ground grass meal from the aerial organs of wild plant - redroot amaranth.
EFFECT: increase in growth intensity of piglets and preservation of livestock population, reduction of disease level due to normalisation of antioxidant-prooxidant balance in red blood cells, reduction in the intensity of lipid peroxidation of erythrocyte membranes, increase in the content of low molecular weight antioxidants, and the regulation of production of immunoglobulin in the blood plasma, reduction of costs per unit of product.
