FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions refers to medicine. A fastener ensuring bone connection comprises a segment engaging with a bone, a head end, a strain segment and a retaining structure. The strain segment is connected to the head end and comprises a material strained when the fastener engages with at least one structural unit of a stabilising structure ensuring the connection to the fastener. The retaining structure holds the strain segment connected to the head end by exerting a force including a friction-independent component. The retaining structure comprises a through hole formed in the head end, and also comprises a slot formed in an outer surface of the fastener so that the above slot intersects the through hole. The strain segment extends inside the through hole and provides an access to the strain segment along the slot. A method for manufacturing the fastener consists in manufacturing the segment engaging with the bone, the head end, connecting the strain segment to the head end, providing the retaining structure holding the strain segment connected to the head end by exerting a force including a friction-independent component. In the head end in the retaining structure, the through hole is formed, and also the slot is formed in the outer surface of the fastener so that the above slot in the outer surface of the fastener intersects the above through hole formed in the head end. The strain segment extends inside the through hole and provides an access to the strain segment along the slot. A fracture fixation system comprises a bearing structure provided with a first surface engaging with the bone, and a second surface opposite the first surface, and the above fastener. The first surface of the bearing structure has a first hole, whereas the second surface of the bearing structure has a second hole, which exceeds the first one. Between the first and second holes, there is a passage comprising at least one or more structural units ensuring the connection to the fastener.
EFFECT: inventions make it possible to specify a screw or fastener inclination angle through a hole in a fastening plate and to fix rigidly in the above hole.
