FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to physiotherapy, and can be used for treating recurrent bacterial complications of paranasal sinus in children in a stage of exacerbation on the background of headaches by physiotherapeutic reflex action on the foci of infection. Background of the antibacterial therapy is followed by exposure to electromagnetic radiation of the EHF-range on the area of a projection of frontal, ethmoidal, maxillary sinuses, a BTE and a projection of tonsils for 2.5 minutes on each of them with energy density of up to 7–10 mW/sq·cm. Exposure also includes halotherapy with density of dry highly dispersed sodium chloride aerosol 5 mg/m3, at temperature 22–24 °C, relative humidity 70–80 % with procedure length 30–40 minutes.
EFFECT: method provides treating recurrent bacterial complications of paranasal sinus in children in a stage of exacerbation with underlying headaches ensured by combined prescription of EHF therapy, followed by halotherapy.
