FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to coated articles and can be used in monolithic windows, in insulating glazing units and multi-layered windows. Article comprises a multilayer coating applied to a glass substrate. Said multilayer coating comprises a first glass-based dielectric layer, one infrared (IR) reflecting layer containing silver, over the first dielectric layer, a contact layer on top and in direct contact with the IR reflecting layer, a second dielectric layer containing silicon nitride, on a glass substrate over at least a contact layer, a layer containing niobium-zirconium with thickness of 1 to 3 nm, on top of and in direct contact with the second dielectric layer, the niobium-zirconium-containing layer containing about 2 to 15% Zr (in at%), a third dielectric layer containing silicon nitride, on a glass substrate on top of and in direct contact with a layer containing niobium-zirconium, a layer containing zirconium oxide with thickness of 3 to 8 nm, on a glass substrate on top of the third dielectric layer containing silicon nitride. Layer containing niobium-zirconium is thinner than each of the second and third dielectric layers containing silicon nitride, and is thinner than the IR reflecting layer containing silver. Layer containing zirconium oxide is thinner than each of the second and third dielectric layers containing silicon nitride.
EFFECT: improved longevity of coating without deterioration of optical characteristics.
