FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: composition includes: a basic composition (A), containing 5-70 wt % epoxy resin, 1-50 wt % phosphorus-containing fire retardant, 1-50 wt % expandable graphite, 0.05-30 wt % fibre, 0.01-10 wt % pigment and 1-20 wt % additive; and a curing composition (B), containing 10-80 wt % amine-based curing agent, 1-40 wt % phosphorus-containing fire retardant, 0.05-20 wt % fibre, 1-40 wt % filler, 0.01-10 wt % pigment and 0,5-20 wt % additive, wherein the expandable graphite is coated with a silane-containing compound. The composition prevents the release of harmful gases when the paint film swells during a fire, thereby reducing the risk of suffocation in case of fire.

EFFECT: low smoke toxicity in case of fire.
