FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention is intended for production of fire-retardant paint coatings of load-carrying structures. Disclosed is an epoxy composition consisting of a base and an amine-type hardener in amount of 1-2 wt.%. Base contains epoxy resin “ЭД-20” in amount of 7-9 wt.%, and also contains single-layer carbon nanotubes as a reinforcing agent in amount of 0.8-0.9 wt.%. Foaming agents used are intercalated graphite 22-24 wt.% and ammonium polyphosphate 8-12 wt.%. Fire retardants used are aluminium hydroxide, zinc borate and antimony III oxide in amount of 10-12 wt.%, 7-9 wt.% and 1.5-3 wt.%, respectively. Viscosity regulator of the composition is represented by a polyurethane oligomer in a solution of n-methylpyrolidone with concentration of 66 wt.%, the content of which in composition is 1-1.2 wt.%. Composition also contains solvents: ethyl acetate 3-5 wt.% and xylene – the rest.
EFFECT: invention enables to obtain a two-component epoxy coating composition with high physical and mechanical properties of the coked cellular material formed when exposed to high temperatures on the coating obtained from the described composition; besides, the composition has high adhesion to metal surfaces and high anticorrosion properties.
