FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to casting, particularly, to injection moulding. Claimed assembly comprises the moulding chamber (2) body (1) with metal inlet (8) and metal outlet (3) and compacting piston (4). Compacting piston displaces in moulding chamber (2) along the lengthwise axis to force the metal via outlet (3) from the moulding chamber. At back stroke of compacting piston the metal gets into said moulding chamber via inlet channel (8). Compacting piston (4) extends through the moulding chamber body opening (5). Compacting piston OD (d) is smaller than moulding chamber ID (D) to make the free cavity (6) between compacting piston outer surface (4b) and body wall inner surface (1c). Said compacting piston displaces without friction with moulding chamber. Friction problems are eliminated also by moulding assembly temperature control be heaters (13, 13, 14) and by compacting piston seal (10) location on inner side of bore side (5) from the moulding chamber side.
