FIELD: transportation.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to automotive industry, in particular to design of the tire intended for operation with the high internal pressure, heavy duty and which is intended for use in large size or heavy duty tires. The tire contains the framework as a base and, at least, two breaker-strip plies, each of which is made by rubberizing of the set of steel cord threads arranged at the angle to the circumferential direction of the tire outside in the radial direction of the tire on the top section of the framework. The steel cord consists of two or more central threads and 5-7 braid threads which are reeled up on the central threads. The distance between the neighboring steel cord threads of the breaker-strip ply is greater than 1.0 mm and less than 1.50 mm. The breaker-strip ply thickness is greater than 1.20 mm and less than 1.60 mm.
EFFECT: keeping small weight while improving the parameters of destructive energy and resistance to separation of the breaker-strip ply edge of the tire.
