FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: studied object is heated by UHF pulse, at definite time after the UHF pulse action the excess temperature is measured in two points of the studied product surface heat insulated from environment, the points are at distances X1 and X2 from plane of the electromagnetic action. Power attenuation of heat affect vs. depth of studied body is determined. The straight-line approximation is applied to the area of the obtained curve limited by surface of the studied object and point, distance to which is taken equal to value exceeding by order the distance to monitoring point x2 of excessive temperature most far from line of heat effect. Angle α between approximating straight line and surface of the studied body is measured. UHF horn antenna is installed at angle α to surface of the studied body, and pulse heat action is performed. Having data on power of the heat effect on the studied body and measured excessive temperatures in the monitoring points, the desired thermophysical characteristics are determined based on the obtained mathematical relationships.
EFFECT: increased accuracy of obtained data.
