SUBSTANCE: perpendicularly to the surface of the investigated item an impulse of the high-frequency electromagnetic field of the microwave range is applied along the line of the specified length, performing heating of the investigated body that is half-limited in the thermal respect along the plane perpendicular to the plane of the outer surface of the investigated item and going inside it, besides, to organise such impact, the electromagnetic radiation of the radio horn of the microwave generator is focused using the horn lens into the line of the specified length, the excessive temperature is measured at the specified moment of time after application of the impulse of microwave radiation on the surface of the investigated item that is thermally insulated from environment in two points, which are accordingly at the distances x1 and x2 from the plane of the high-frequency electromagnetic impact, wave length and intensity of electromagnetic microwave radiation are set such that depth of penetration of the electromagnetic field is at least ten times more than the specified distances x1 and x2 to the temperature control points, having information on intensity of thermal impact at the investigated item in the plane of microwave heating and values of excessive temperatures measured at the specified moment of time in control points, sought-for thermal characteristics are determined on the basis of produced mathematical ratios.
EFFECT: higher efficiency and accuracy of determination of thermal characteristics of building materials.
