SUBSTANCE: sealing system (1) for industrial valves, in particular for shutoff valves, containing, at least, one cage (20) intended for insertion into the enclosing body (10) of the shutoff valve, one plate (30) intended for the valve closure, tightly adjoining to the named cage (20), and one sealing element (60a, 60b) made of thermoplastic material, located on the surface of the named cage (20), facing towards the named plate (30) and intended to form the liquid sealing between the named cage (20) and the plate (30) of the named valve, also containing on the surface of the named cage (20), at least, one additional element (70a, 70b), made form elastomeric material, facing towards the named plate (30), and the named element (60a, 60b), made of thermoplastic material, has ring-shaped form and polygonal section.
EFFECT: lower costs.
