SUBSTANCE: described tea preparation device (100) contains a base (300) including an electric power supply and an upper section containing an user interface (360) and a location (361) for vessel placement which is designed so that to place a vessel (200) detachable from the base with the electric power supply; the user interface (360) includes a luminescent indicator (368) of the brewing process progress passing at least partially around the said location for the vessel placement so that at least a section of the brewing process progress indicator is visible from any position around the base with the power supply when the vessel is present in the said location for the vessel placement; there is also a controller (332) designed so that to enable control of the indicator (368) of the brewing process progress during the tea brewing process so that the user is notified of the said process progress by changing of highlighting of the brewing process progress indicator.
