SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in optical communication systems. For this purpose, device comprises: non-light emitting element, made with possibility to transmit and/or reflect light from light-emitting element, non-emitting element has variable transmission and/or reflection, respectively, and the non-emitting element is separate from the light-emitting element; and controller configured to control transmission and/or reflection of non-light emitting element, to modulate the light in time and thereby embed data into the light in an inconspicuous manner; wherein the non-emitting element is configured to transmit and/or reflect light towards the detection device, arranged in unit separate from light-emitting element and non-emitter element, so that built-in data are detected by detection device.

EFFECT: technical result is higher reliability of communication.
