SUBSTANCE: described is device (100) for tea preparation containing user interface panel (360), including layer (359) from wood with front side and rear side and containing one or more thin and, consequently, semitransparent sections, and transparent housing (354), having front side and rear side, whereupon the said front side is located on the rear side of wooden layer. Device for tea preparation additionally contains means (322, 324, 328) for lighting, located on the rear side of transparent housing and configured to emit light through transparent housing (354) on translucent sections of wooden layer (359) for forced lighting of said translucent sections on the front side of said wooden layer.
