METHOD FOR RESTORING CEREBRAL HAEMODYNAMICS IN CHILDREN IN RESIDUAL PERIOD OF PERINATAL CERVICAL INJURY IN FORM OF CII SUBLUXATION Russian patent published in 2015 - IPC A61H39/00 A61H1/00

Abstract RU 2571235 C1

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: integrated health resort treatment is accompanied by a manual therapy: acupressure of ying-tang and fen-chi followed by an exposure on the cervical spine in the form of muscular-energetic techniques by two-stage mobilisation. The first stage involves invoking an isometric tension of intervertebral muscles by suggesting the patient looking upwards or sideway, taking and holding a deep breath. At the second stage, the patient relaxes, changes a visual direction and breathes out. The doctor manually controls the tissue relax in the ventral-cranial-lateral direction along a plane of the joint underlying a functionally blocked vertebral motor segment until the patients experiences joint pain and motion gain. The above techniques are repeated until pain and/or restraint disappears and the range of motions recovers. The manual therapy is conducted daily; one session lasts for 15 minutes, and the therapeutic course makes 4 procedures.

EFFECT: restoring cerebral haemodynamics in the children of this group in the form of substantial improvement of the cerebral blood flow and spinal artery blood flow in accordance with the ultrasonic findings, with no side effects, with improved posture, quality of life, emotional, physical and role functions.
