FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: sulphur condenser comprises a tubular heat exchanger (1) placed horizontally, at the outlet of which there is an inlet chamber (9), in the upper part of which there is a gas outlet nozzle and a gauze (11) heated by a coil (12), filled with a heat carrier (13), and in the lower part under the gauze there is a vertical sulphur outlet nozzle (14) with a cover (15), filled with a heat carrier (13). The inter-tube space (5) of the tubular heat exchanger (1) is filled with heat carrier (13) in the form of an aqueous diethylene glycol solution with operating temperature of 120°C at the inlet in the inter-tube space (5) and 180°C at the outlet of the inter-tube space (5). The outlet of the inter-tube space (5) is connected to the inlet of the coil (12) for heating the gauze (11) and to the inlet (19) of the cover (15) of the heated outlet nozzle (14); outlets (20) of the coil (12) for heating the gauze (11) and the cover (15) of the heated outlet nozzle (14) are connected to an apparatus for thermal preparation of heat carrier (24), which is connected to the inlet of the inter-tube space (5).
EFFECT: invention ensures complete removal of sulphur from a gas.
