FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: united electrical power transmission system comprises primary thermal engine coupled mechanically with shaft of AC asynchronous generator with phase-wound rotor. The shaft of the squirrel-cage motor is coupled to propulsion plant of the vehicle. Stator winding of the traction motor is connected to the first input of the reversible static frequency converter. Stator winding of the asynchronous generator through the first automatic circuit breaker is connected to stator winding of the traction motor. Synchronous generator is coupled mechanically to the shaft of asynchronous generator. Stator winding of the synchronous generator is connected to busbars of the main switchboard. Auxiliary consumers are connected to the busbars and through the second automatic circuit breaker to the second input of the reversible converter; at that winding of the asynchronous generator is connected through the third automatic circuit breaker to the same input.
EFFECT: implemented reversing of traction drive in fractional modes of its operation, power supply for the auxiliary equipment.
