FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electric traction systems of vehicles powered by own power supply sources. The electrical power transmission system comprises primary thermal engine coupled mechanically with shaft of AC asynchronous generator with phase-wound rotor. The shaft of the squirrel-cage motor is coupled to propulsion plant of the vehicle. Stator winding of the traction motor is connected to the first input of the reversible static frequency converter. Rotor winding of the asynchronous generator is connected to the second input of converter. Stator winding of the asynchronous generator through the first automatic circuit breaker is connected to stator winding of the traction motor. Input of the voltage rectifier is connected to rotor winding of the asynchronous generator. The rectifier input is connected to two phases of the asynchronous generator stator winding via double-pole automatic circuit-breaker.
EFFECT: increase of efficiency and reliability of electric transmission.
