FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: presented group of inventions refers to medicine, namely cardiology. Instantaneous electric-field vectors are determined by three selected pairs of projections on standard and/or augmented leads. Angles of the selected pairs of the instantaneous vectors are measured. The greatest angle measured is accepted as a divergence angle of an instantaneous cardiac electric axis; a cardiac electric field is assessed by the derived divergence angle. That is followed by determining sum electric-field vectors over a pre-set period of time for each lead by three pairs of projections on standard and/or augmented leads. The sum vectors are determined for each lead as total amplitude of positive and negative ECG waves at this period of time. Angles of the selected pairs of the sum vectors are measured. The greatest angle measured is accepted as a divergence angle of the cardiac electric axis; the cardiac electric field is assessed by the derived divergence angle. That is followed by determining sum electric-field vectors over a pre-set period of time by three pairs of projections on standard and/or augmented leads. The sum vectors are determined for each lead as an ECG curve area divided into the length of the pre-set period of time. Angles of the selected pairs of the sum vectors are measured with the greatest angle measured accepted as a divergence angle.
EFFECT: group of inventions enables providing the more accurate assessment of the cardiac electric field.
