FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to cardiovascular surgery, and can be used for epicardial implantation of an electrocardiostimulator (ECS) in children with atrioventricular blockade for the prevention of pacemaker-induced cardiomyopathy. To do this, the ventricular electrode is fixed to the surface of the left ventricle (LV). Before fixing the ventricular electrode, an effective stimulation point is identified: an ECG is recorded intraoperatively and, based on a vector analysis of QRS complexes, an effective LV stimulation point is determined so that the orientation of the QRS complex teeth corresponds to the excitation of the ventricles from the top of the LV from left to right.
EFFECT: invention provides high-quality fixation of the epicardial ends of stimulating electrodes to the LV surface, and also prevents intra- and interventricular dyssynchrony, leading to the occurrence of pacemaker-induced cardiomyopathy in children.
